General Refunds and Transfers
If you need to amend your booking please contact the office and we will see if the time/night/weekend that you wish to attend is available.
Changes are subject to availability . We regret that we are unable to make changes to any bookings within 48hrs or less of the date you are due to attend.
No refunds will be issued for any non-attendance, under any circumstances, if the walk is not cancelled.
Adverse Weather Plan
Heritage Wood is an outdoor winter event, open for four weekends, the entire duration of the walk is outdoors. We will remain open and operational throughout all typical winter weather conditions, including inclement weather. We advise all customers to dress appropriately for the weather.
The health and safety of our visitors and staff is always our paramount concern. The Heritage Wood team, in collaboration with our venue partners, will continuously monitor weather conditions every day of the event.
In the unlikely event that weather conditions on site, on any given night, pose a risk to the health and safety of our visitors or staff, that night’s walk will be cancelled. Any decision to cancel will be made as early as possible on the day of the walk, and no later than 2pm.
Any decision to cancel a night of the walk will be made by the organisers in conjunction with our venue partners. Any such decision will be final.
In the Event of a night’s Cancellation
In the event that a night of the walk has to be cancelled (due to adverse weather and/or any other reasons), all persons booked for that night will be notified of the cancellation by 2pm on the day of the walk, via an email sent to the address used for the booking.
An announcement will also be made through our social media platforms and our website. We advise customers to check our website for the latest updates before they travel.
Next Steps Following Cancellation
Full details of the next steps will be included in the email notifying customers of the cancellation, including information on how to re-book.
Customers will be able to re-book tickets, up to the equivalent financial value, for any future timeslots, subject to availability. If this option is not possible or suitable, a refund will be issued minus the 5% booking fee.
All transfers and/or refunds pursuant to our cancelling a night must be requested within 28 days of the date you were booked to attend.
Heritage Wood will not be liable for any other costs incurred by customers.
The booking fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
